Jill Stuber

Jill Stuber is a true professional having served in Quality and Food Safety Teams for several multi-million-dollar food companies and food industry support companies – at both corporate levels and front-line facility levels. She has defined expectations and programs for company-wide food safety and quality systems and has been responsible for verifying the implementation of those systems. Ms. Stuber has led multi-plant teams with up to 50 team members to clearly define team roles, expectations, and boundaries to more fully integrate and collaborate across organizations.

Ms. Stuber holds a number of degrees including Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Food Science, with a micro/food safety emphasis, from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls and Madison, respectively; as well as a Master of Science degree in Quality Management from Eastern Michigan University. She is a professional coach certified through Learning Journeys – an accredited program through the International Coaching Federation, HACCP Certified, PCQI Certified, an SQF Practitioner, an Institute of Food Technology (IFT) Certified Food Scientist, a Lean Facilitator, and a Six Sigma Black Belt. Being a farm girl from Wisconsin, Ms. Stuber has always been involved in agriculture from showing dairy cattle at local and state fairs, to graduate research on organic vegetables, to over 20 years working in the food industry in various roles in food safety and quality.

Along this amazing journey in the food world, Ms. Stuber has had her own struggles. Early in her career, she thought education and certifications were key to learning more, being more productive, and adding value to her organizations. She quickly found persistence was important, yet not everything. Her desire to make life better for her FSQ teams led her to find coaching. Coaching is where Ms. Stuber embraced a new perspective to support teams and open possibilities they thought were a lifetime away from reality.

This coaching journey – along with her food safety technical training and experiences –inspired Ms. Stuber to create a safe place of support, understanding, and growth for other food safety and quality professionals. It was in that moment the Food Safety Coach was born!

Coaching and making a positive difference for others in FSQ is Jill’s ‘WHY’. She just happens to be a food safety professional too.
